Artist from Mexico City coming to Cincinnati- Adrian Zavala
About the Artist, Adrian Zavala
Adrian Zavala began painting as a child. He was born in Mexico City in 1977 and earned his bachelor’s degree in Digital and Art Design from the University of New Mexico, with studies at UNAM, in Mexico. He has worked as a graphic designer and artist in Chicago for the last ten years. He was a Senior Art Director at DRAFTFCB, with prior positions at JWT, and Z Publicidad in Mexico.
Zavala’s work has appeared in a number of publications and galleries, winning an award with ArtSlant, and a gallery contract at the 2015 Art Comes Alive competition at Art Design Consultants in Cincinnati. He won first prize in the International Poster Biennial of Mexico. Zavala recently relocated to Miami, FL
