    Event Description:
    Xavier University’s College of Professional Sciences (CPS) Committee on Diversity and Inclusion would like to invite members of your organization to attend a public presentation by Sister Simone Campbell, SSS on Catholic Thought and Economic Justice.  It will be held at Xavier University on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 pm in the Cintas Center Banquet Hall. Please distribute the attached flyer to interested individuals within your organization.
     
    Sister Simone is an attorney engaged in policy work addressing income inequality.  She has testified in front of Congress, spoke at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, and is the executive director of NETWORK, a lobby for Catholic Social Justice. Sister Simone is also known for her 2014 Nuns on the Bus national tour which she describes in her book, A Nun on the Bus: How All of us Can Create Hope, Change, and Community.
