The premiere performance of this work has become legendary, with two dozen curtain calls for the stunned cast, composer, and choreographer, and raves from the bowled-over critics.*Fancy Free was also the inspiration for both the Broadway musical and the classic film, On the Town, starring Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, Judy Holliday and Vera-Ellen.What better way to honor the 100th Anniversary of both Leonard Bernstein AND Jerome Robbins than to showcase and experience this delightful dance confection as part of Director’s Cut: Musical Masters?
