FC Cincinnati will host a special evening of Hispanic heritage programming on Wednesday, Sept. 18, when the team hosts defending MLS Cup champions Atlanta United FC in its first “Noche Latina” evening at Nippert Stadium.
With various activities scheduled throughout the evening to celebrate the breadth of Hispanic culture, the night will kick off with “Salsa on Sheakley,” starting at 5:30 p.m. on Sheakley Lawn.
Cincinnati-based salsa group Son Del Caribe – will perform from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. During the performance, salsa instructors will be on-hand to demonstrate and teach FCC fans the traditional Cuban dance.
Fans can get into the festive mood with drink specials as well as food offerings from the Taste of Mexico food truck.
The game’s in-stadium presentation will also take on a Hispanic theme with special PA announcements made in Spanish and specially filmed video board messages.
