CINCINNATI — The public is invited to attend the Opioid Epidemic Community Forum program at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Reading Garden Lounge at the Main Library. The panel discussion will focus on how the opioid epidemic is affecting Greater Cincinnati.
The discussion will be moderated by Terry DeMio, the Cincinnati Enquirer’s heroin reporter. She was one of the staff writers who received a 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting for the story “Seven Days of Heroin.”

Craig Davidson, assistant health commissioner for Hamilton County Public Health
Roxana Hawkins from the Talbert House.
Newtown Police Chief Tom Synan, member of the Hamilton County Heroin Coalition

ABOUT THE HAMILTON COUNTY HEROIN COALITION The Hamilton County Heroin Coalition provides countywide leadership and solutions to address the heroin and opiate epidemic both immediately and in the long-term. Through collaboration between public health officials, law enforcement, prevention experts and treatment providers, the coalition assists people with the emergency support that they need, as well as working to prevent the spread of drug use in our youth before it begins.
