On February 22, Shine a Light on Slavery Day, the students of Walnut Hills High School will perform original artistic pieces to deepen people’s understanding of modern-day slavery, and other social justice issues, and to inspire action. Registration is requested: http://bit.ly/esn_whhs. Tickets are only $5, at the door, and include general admission to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center exhibits from 6-7 PM. The 90-minute program begins at 7 PM in the Freedom Center’s Harriet Tubman Theater, and light refreshments will be served following it from 8:30-9 PM.
