Cynthia B. Dillard (Ph.D., Washington State University) is the Mary Frances Early Professor of Teacher Education and the Chair of the Department of Educational Theory and Practice at the University of Georgia. She received the 2012 Distinguished Contributions to Gender Equity in Educational Research from the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the Critics Choice Book Awards in 2008 and 2014 from the American Educational Studies Association (AESA).
