DESCRIPTION:Dream Building Gala!\n\n\n\nJoin the Community Building Institute Middletown\, Inc. as we host our first fundraising event !\n\nHonoring Cecilia Thompson for her 40 years of service at the Robert "Sonny" Hill Community Center and announcing theCecilia Thompson Scholarship Fund that will fund scholarships for CBI's after school and summer camp programs.\n\nKeynote Speaker: Jonathan Mooney\, a writer and learning activist\, Jonathan did not learn to read until he was 12 years old\, but went on to graduate from Brown University with a 4.0 GPA in Advance English Literature. Jonathan contributes much of his success to out-of-school programming that supported and encouraged his learning style.\n\nSpecial Guest MC - Dr. Odell Owens\, Executive Director of Interact for Health\n\nAll proceeds will go towards CBI's programming at the Robert "Sonny" Hill Jr. Community Center.
