Corporate Relations Manager
The Cincinnati Art Museum has an opening for a full-time corporate relations Manager.
Responsibilities: Working under the direction of the director of development, the corporate relations manager is responsible for managing corporate support for the Art Museum by attracting and cultivating new business relationships for the Art Museum; handling prospect research; writing appeal letters/proposals to corporations; coordinating solicitations; serving as a primary contact to the Art Museum’s corporate council of volunteers from the business community; managing benefits including planning special events; and other projects as assigned.
Requirements: A four-year college degree minimum and three years experience and/or training in the field or the equivalent combination of education and experience are required. At least one to two years experience in fundraising/development or marketing/sales is highly desirable. Candidate must possess a proven ability to work successfully with others to achieve institutional objectives. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and a good working knowledge of database, word processing, and other relevant computer programs; familiarity with regional corporate community; ability to write accurate and persuasive communications; ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment; ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from museum staff and the corporate community. Must be extremely proactive, self-motivated, and creative to achieve department and institutional goals.
