DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
This position reports directly to the Director of Development
DUTIES: Manage, coordinate and have responsibility for private fund-raising of the college. Research potential donors. Maintain a working relationship with the College’s Financial Aid and Office of Admission to understand scholarship funding needs and to follow through with the implementation of scholarship awards. Maintain accurate records of all gifts in area of responsibility. Identify and prepare a solicitation plan for new funds in specific areas of responsibility. Participate in preparing and implementing annual fund-raising master plan and the campaign solicitation planning.
SPECIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree required. CFRE desirable. Candidate must have three to five years development experience. Fund-raising experience required. A record of successful individual donor solicitation; proven success with fund-raising special events; ability to design and implement fund-raising programs.
MINIMUM STARTING SALARY: Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience
