RESPONSIBLE FOR: Software application configuration, functionality and, expansion of all Supply Chain Information Systems (SCIS) throughout the The Christ Hospital Enterprise. Acts as the liaison between the Supply Chain Management Department and the Information Systems and Technology department and safeguards the department policies and regulations as they relate to system issues that affect its business administration. This role is responsible for the protection and integrity of all data in the SCIS systems and for insuring the training of users and related parties on how to use the Supply Chain systems, and is the technical expert in the implementation and design of all Supply Chain modules and applications. Works collaboratively with the supply chain management to prepare for and conducts physical inventories. Works collaboratively with the Contract Coordinator to assure all data is loaded appropriately and in a timely fashion. Advises, articulates and sets data fields in accordance to operational direction to optimize efficiency and function. This role supports data, data interchange and training for inventory, ordering, and distribution management systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Required experience in: supporting custom interfaces and data exchanges between multiple applications; articulating problems and resolutions clearly, bridging terminology gaps among technical support personnel, end users, and management; ensuring business requirements are met in functional and technical specifications related to application and interface changes; documenting processes related to system support including but not limited to data entry/ upload, troubleshooting processes, and escalation protocol. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Superior knowledge of Lawson Purchasing , Receiving and Inventroy control software required. Microsoft Excel required with some knowledge of Microsoft Access and Power Point. Desired application experience: Par Excellence software, order management systems, and working knowledge in reporting tools such as Cognos, Crystal Reports, or similar. Required to exercise commensurate independent judgement and discretion.
