  • Chief Financial Officer

    Clark Schaefer Hackett
    Job Description
    EXECUTIVE POSITION PROFILE
    Chief Financial Officer
    VisTech Manufacturing
    CLIENT SYNOPSIS

It can be difficult to find truly innovative companies in the manufacturing space--companies with a unique value proposition that challenges the status quo.
And at VisTech, that proposition comes down to a two-pronged approach; one focused on operations and a total systems approach to continuous improvement with an uncompromising focus on the dynamic needs of the customer. The other prong focused on the Team. With a wonderfully open, engaging and respectful communications style, VisTech appreciates smart, nimble thinkers at every level of the organization. Everyone operates with a high degree of mental agility, zeroing in on the tactical and zooming out to the strategic. Success along both fronts has let VisTech to past accomplishments, but more importantly, has them positioned for continued growth and success.

    Job Brief
The Chief Financial Officer will be a strategic business partner to the CEO playing a very dynamic role in the structure, position, and vision of the organization. But this is in no way a corner-office position where Job #1 is to strategize and delegate. This is a hands-on role and success will be born of a combination of being on the shop-floor, truly understanding the business (and appreciating and valuing the people whose labors drive its success), making sure that the right numbers are in the right boxes, and providing executive level financial council impacting both the short-term position, and long-term plans of the company. The CEO would like someone who is a doer, not just a thinker, an implementer, not just a strategizer, a counter-point to his ideas and vision, but most importantly, a respectful leader who is inclusive and communicative to every member of the VisTech family, regardless of title or position.

    Specific responsibilities will include:
