    The Ford ASSET Instructor must be committed to providing quality instruction to students of various ages and backgrounds while meeting the program objectives.  Applicant must enjoy working with students both in and out of the classroom.  This individual will fulfill all other faculty responsibilities for student and program support.

    Duties:

    Involved in program committees and could represent the program on college committees as determined by the program and/or college.

    The instructor must also work in collaboration with Ford. Serve as Academic Advisor for Ford Asset students.

    Responsible for assisting with student recruitment, retention, assessment and other duties as assigned by the Dean

    Qualifications:

    Ford Asset Master Certified
    Prior teaching and/or corporate training experience preferred.
    Must have extensive computer skills in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

    Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with many individuals at all levels throughout the internal college environment as well as external business and community partners, representing his/her self in a professional and courteous manner; ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.

    ASE Certified in all 8 areas—Master Certified -preferred

    Expected start date:  8/1/2019

    Gateway Community & Technical College is located in the Greater Cincinnati area.

    10 month full time faculty position, primarily consisting of full time teaching both in the traditional classroom and in web enhancing courses
    Summer opportunities with additional compensation may be available and are encouraged
    Carry a full time teaching load in the fall and spring semesters and have a commitment to using assessment to improve teaching and learning.
