Position Title: Credit Solutions Support Specialist II
Location: Norwood – 4030 Smith Road, Cincinnati, OH 45209
POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Credit Solutions Support Specialist II is responsible for supporting the operational aspects of the RCS relationships with assigned partners. Additionally, this position will be involved in all phases of partner and program relationships. This role will interact directly with the assigned partners and various management teams and will be the subject matter expert of all operational aspects of the relationship. Day to Day duties will include support of both our partners and internal Republic departments (Accounting, Audit, Support, etc.).
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of Consumer Credit operations/processing experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of banking, auditing or compliance experience preferred.
Minimum 3 years customer service or lending experience required.
Proficient in standard MS Office products (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint) required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for review and archiving the Program Manager Reference Materials (underwriting manual, customer correspondence, program changes, etc.) and provide feedback on the content to the Program Managers.
Ensure compliance with established policies, business plans, industry guidelines and regulatory bodies.
Provide oversight and direction to other associates to open, sort, scan, monitor, and forward all mail correspondence to the appropriate Program Manager or corresponding payment processor.
Responsible for managing and analyzing all complaints and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Interact directly with Program Managers and internal management teams to discuss and analyze outstanding issues and provide solutions for corrective action.
Develop and maintain internal program task lists and ensure that target dates for completion are met.
Comprehend operational changes that would impact the resources at the Norwood location and provide solutions for implementing the changes.
Responsible for obtaining any documentation required for examinations or audits.
Prepare third party risk assessment forms and documents to present to the third-party committee for approval or renewal of service providers.
Provide oversight for handling phone calls from consumers regarding credit inquiries and other questions regarding our products. This includes research and tracking to completion.
Fully document, review, and maintain processes and operational procedures.
Act as a key contributor when working with Program Managers to assure specific aspects of program launches are tested and delivered on schedule.
Monitor products to assure processes are working as designed. Recommend updates and enhancements as appropriate.
Act as a liaison between partners and internal Republic departments, including Accounting, Audit, and Compliance.
Subject Matter Expert on all functions and processes associates with assigned Programs.
Assist the Director of RCS with facilitating ongoing meetings with Program Managers.
Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

This position may be work-from-home eligible for up to 2 days per week. Individual participation to be permitted at management discretion.
Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required.
Occasional out-of-town travel is required.
Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings and weekends.
Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
