    Job Title: Project Architect/Manager

    Job Summary:


    Coordinate multiple new and renovation projects through all phases from programming through design, construction and closeout on projects up to $100,000,000. Responsible for schedule and budget oversight. Works mainly independently with supervision as needed. Serves as liaison to university groups.


    Duties/Physical Demands:

    Coordinate multiple new and renovation projects from programming, design, bidding, construction, warranty & closeout phases with a thorough understanding of all delivery methods available by the State of Ohio with project budgets of up to $150,000,000. 0.5; Coordination with PFD Operations resources and end users for installation of related work and or T&M work supporting capital projects. 0.1; Coordinate drawing reviews at each phase of design with internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure compliance with university standards, the approved Program of Requirements, and State of Ohio submission guidelines. (extension of duty #1) 0.1; Monitor design, bidding, and construction schedule; reconcile project estimates and expenditures against project budget during design and construction. (extension of duty #1) 0.1; Process project documents such as contracts, pay applications, and change orders according to internal workflow, approval limits, and State of Ohio guidelines. (extension of duty #1) 0.1; Facilitate selection and negotiate contracts with AE, CM, and DB teams per processes dictated by the State of Ohio Revised Code. (extension of duty #1) 0.05; Prepare schedule and budget reports to various levels of university leadership and client groups. 0.05;


    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in Architecture, Construction Management or Engineering; or directly applicable experience for a minimum of 12 years. Experience in these knowledge/skills/abilities may be earned concurrently.


    Desired Qualifications:

    Master's degree; Licensed Architect NCARB; Professional Engineer, PE; Interior design (IIDA, ASID); State of Ohio Local Administration training; LEED


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Preparation or review of construction documents, estimates, budgets, project management; State of Ohio delivery methods - GC, CMR, DB, CPM scheduling; MS Suite.
