    Job Description

    Mount St. Joseph University is accepting applications for a part-time (50%) one-year Instructor or Assistant Professor position (rank depends on the candidate’s credentials) in psychology beginning August 2020.  The Department of Psychology in the School of Behavioral and Natural Sciences offers a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

    Qualifications

    Candidates for the position should have had some graduate training in developmental psychology and should have earned a master’s or doctoral degree in psychology before beginning the position.  The candidate is expected to teach Lifespan Development and other psychology courses relevant to their training.  An ability to teach Health Psychology would be desirable, but not essential.  The course load will be two courses per semester.  The candidate must have a demonstrated ability and commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
