    Job Description
    Expected start date: August 2019
    10 month full -time faculty position.
    The program is an evening program with expansion plans for a day option
    Gateway Community and Technical College is located in Northern Kentucky - part of the Greater Cincinnati Region

    Teach Computerized Manufacturing & Machining classes
    Commitment to using assessment to increase student success.
    Represent the program on committees and at external meetings as determined by the Dean
    Serve as an Academic Advisor
    Serve as the Program Coordinator for Computerized Manufacturing & Machining
    Responsible for assisting with student recruitment, retention, assessment and other duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Vice President of Academic Affairs
    Associate’s degree in a technical field or related discipline with machining experience
    Minimum of  two years of work experience in manufacturing/machining/CNC programming
    Prior teaching and/or corporate training experience preferred.

    Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
    Ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy. 
    Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Five years of experience in a machining
    CNC programming, CAD/CAM/CNC programming (Mastercam preferred).
    Experience in and understanding of the importance of working with students from diverse populations. 
    Experience working at the community college level.
