    Job Description

    The School of Business at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full time term position of 9-month, beginning the fall semester of 2020, and will carry the rank of Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor. The candidate is expected to teach four courses in the marketing undergraduate major per semester. This position begins in August 2020.

    Additional Responsibilities include:

    • A primary focus on undergraduate teaching in the area of marketing. 
    • Assisting in career advising of business students.
    • Sharing with the department chairperson and other department faculty the responsibility for department representation at set recruitment events.
    • Sharing with the department chairperson and other department faculty annual and long-range planning of the programs.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Candidates must hold, at minimum, a master’s degree in Marketing, MBA with a marketing focus, or at least 18 graduate credit hours in Marketing and a Ph.D. in a related field from an accredited institution. A minimum of 5 years of professional marketing experience is a plus.

    Skills required for the position include a demonstrated expertise in teaching introductory and upper-division undergraduate courses in marketing. Qualified individuals in all specialty areas of marketing will be considered; preference will be given to those with an ability to teach in multiple areas in marketing.
