    Job Title: International Admission Coordinator
    Job Summary:

    The International Admission Coordinator will support the Office of International and Transfer Admission's efforts to recruit and enroll an academically-talented and diverse undergraduate international student body to Miami University.

    Duties/Physical Demands:
    • Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO). Process initial I-20 visa documents for newly accepted first-year and transfer international students. (30%)
    • Assist with international admission application review. Actively engage in international application and scholarship review and preparation of international student acceptance materials. Serve as a resource for international transfer credit evaluations. (25%)
    • Assist in the management of the primary international email account as well as providing responses to additional written and phone inquiries from international students. (25%)
    • Assist with the coordination and development of international recruitment/yield activities and communication plans including but not limited to agent and partnership relationship management, web chats/virtual fairs, email, and social media. (15%)
    • Actively participate in international recruitment/yield activities and other general admission activities such as group and counselor visits and admission special events. (5%)
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Must possess a driver’s license and be able to meet requirements for becoming a Designated School Official (DSO).
    • This position is available to persons who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time and indefinite basis.  (Persons authorized to work on such a basis include US citizens, lawful permanent residents (“green card” holders), asylees, refugees, and temporary residents under IRCA.)
    Desired Qualifications:
    • 1 or more years of Admission or student services experience.
    • Experience in and/or strong interest in recruiting and enrolling international students.
    • Experience working with CRM and/or Student Information System software.
