    Job Description

    Purpose:

    Responsible for instructing student-athletes in the rules and fundamentals of women’s lacrosse; and providing input and assistance to the head coach in determining fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques.

    Duties:

    • Design instruction for individual student-athletes and for specific team needs
    • Instruct student-athletes in the rules and fundamentals of men’s lacrosse events as assigned by the Head Coach
    • Provide input and assist the head coach in determining fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques
    • Provide instruction related to physical health, team concepts and safety 
    • Assist the Head Coach in the recruitment of student-athletes
    • Maintain current knowledge and abides by NCAA rules, policies, procedures
    • Demonstrates integrity and upholds the values and mission of the College.
    • Contributes to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the division; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelors preferred

    Experience:

    1 year college coaching preferred

    Commitment towards diversity, equity, and inclusion

    Specialized Training:

    Proficient in the use of Coaching techniques, video editing, Microsoft Office programs, computer, camcorder, copier, weight training equipment, and First Aid and CPR.
