All Co-op positions will be at DJJ's Cincinnati, Ohio corporate headquarters. Currently, we are looking for both Project Engineering Co-ops and Electrical Engineering Co-ops.
The Electrical Controls Co-Op will use Rockwell Software to upgrade and convert existing Human-Machine Interface (HMI) programs to a new software platform. The Co-op will also be expected to work with our IT group to upgrade existing PCs or configure new PCs, install required Rockwell Software, and contact on-site personnel to ensure proper installation. Position includes occasional supervised visits to Cincinnati-area processing sites.
The Project Engineering Co-Op will update equipment layouts and machine drawings in AutoCAD. The Co-Op will review machine specifications with on-site personnel and document the specifications in Excel. The position includes occasional escorted visits to Cincinnati-area processing sites.
1. Co-op candidates must be in a full-time accredited bachelor's or technical degree program with concentration in Engineering or Technology.
2. PLC and HMI experience preferred.
3. Strong MS Excel and PC configuration skills desired.
4. Strong CAD sklls desired.
