Provide technical assistance to faculty, staff and students; on-site assistance for faculty
and staff in CLASS/regional campus departments/units using technology in instruction,
research, and administration; assistance with installation and maintenance of computer
and hardware and software systems; responsible for troubleshooting all desk-side issues
within computer labs & offices.
Provide support for computer classroom, faculty, and staff at regional campuses
(including VOA). Maintain printing capabilities for faculty, staff and students. Repair
Technology equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, digital signs, and
audiovisual equip. in classrooms. Install & troubleshoot Windows & Apple operating
systems along with applications. Operate network server applications tools to assist in
repair and management of computers and printers. Provide hardware and software
training to faculty, staff and students. Verify and maintain inventory assets, including
Associate's degree or vocational or technical school degree; three years of experience in
technology services field to include work experience in a variety of computer operating
systems; knowledge of setting up printers on the network; basic network server
knowledge and have proficient troubleshooting skills. Position is not eligible for H-1B
