|Responsible for skilled repair and maintenance work on gasoline and diesel powered equipment, including heavy construction equipment, snow removal equipment, aircraft crash trucks and fire and police vehicles with onboard computer systems.|

|TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Degree or GED and five years experience in the repair of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles and equipment including strong experience working on large diesel vehicles/equipment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
|ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Very Heavy Work: exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
