    Job Title:

    Registered Dietitian

    Job Summary:

    The Registered Dietitian position will work with the Senior Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional guidance to Miami Food & Beverage. This position will be responsible for managing the dining accommodations program and assisting students and campus guests dining on campus with dietary restrictions.

    This position will be located at the Demske Culinary Support Center at 426 Wells Mills Drive in Oxford, Ohio. 

    Duties:

    Plan meal programs including but not limited to recipe/menu entry and maintenance, recipe testing, and implementation, and driving new food products and ideas.

    Manage dining accommodations; this may include meeting with prospective/current students and parents, shopping, implementation at dining facilities, and constant follow up communication with both students and non-students.

    Provide general nutrition guidance and counseling to students.

    Assist in the promotion of healthy eating on campus.

    Assist with food sanitation inspections.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Completion of a college/university educational program in dietetics and/or nutrition that is
    accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics followed by an accredited Dietetic Internship if not a coordinated program.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    3+ years of experience as a registered dietitian is preferred
    Prior experience in foodservice
    Familiarity with nutrition counseling
