    Position Summary:
    The Case Management Supervisor will provide administrative and clinical supervision to the case management and emergency assistance programs in the Su Casa Hispanic Center (SCHC). The emergency assistance program assists clients and families in situational challenges and changes they may face due to poverty, immigration status, cultural/language barriers, and navigating different systems in the community. The case management program specifically serves unaccompanied children and recently arrived single-parent households from Latin America. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the supervisor will be expected to carry a small caseload of unaccompanied children, providing home studies and post-release services. This position will work in collaboration with the Family Programs Director.
     
    Essential Job Functions:
    1. Participate in the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans, ensuring they are concise and realistic while carried out in a timely manner.
    2. Conduct and attend regular group supervision meetings to provide case managers perspective to total case management of the client across all agency programs and resources, making case recommendations, and actively coordinating each case with all members of the SCHC team.
    3. Provide annual performance reviews of case managers and caseworkers as well as training, development, and performance feedback.
    4. Manage the Safe Passages program through USCCB, a program to resettle unaccompanied migrant children, and to ensure cases are accepted and completed in a timely manner according to the program guidelines and MOU. 
    5. Carry a caseload of approximately 5 to 7 unaccompanied children cases at any given time and approximately 4 to 6 home studies per year.
    6. Manage Trafficking Victims Assistance Program through USCCB, a program to assist foreign-born victims of human trafficking.
    7. Communicate with referral sources and other appropriate parties to advocate on clients’ behalf and develop resources for the population served.   
    8. Provide guidance to case managers and caseworkers with concerns regarding issues pertaining to assistance being provided.
    9. Review, develop, or modify work plans, methods, and procedures, determine work priorities, and ensure adequate staff coverage. Assign and distribute work, review work for accuracy and completeness, and return assignments with recommendations for proper completion.
    10. Resolve problems and mediate conflicts encountered during daily operations, determine appropriate solutions, and promote teamwork.
    11. Encourage and guide others toward goals.
    12. Ensure quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of case management.
    13. Ensure that standards set forth by the Council of Accreditation are implemented and followed for the program.
    14. Ensure data for the program is maintained and input into the designated database.
    15. Complete reports and audit client files as needed for operational reports and quality improvement.
    16. Other duties as assigned.
     
    Supervisory Responsibilities: Emergency Assistance Caseworkers, Case Managers, Family Reunification Case Managers, and Trafficking Victims Assistance Program.
     
    Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
    1. Master degree in human services, social work, sociology, psychology, or another related field required
    2. Social work licensure preferred but not required
    3. Must read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently
    4. Must have an active driver license and auto insurance
    5. Proficient in computer skills including knowledge of Excel (create spreadsheets, sort, drop down menus, formulas, look up tables, etc.) and/or another database. Ability to sort and file document alphabetically and numerically
    6. Must be accurate, detail oriented, and organized
    7. Must have good time management skills
    8. Excellent oral and written communication skills
    9. Demonstrated ability to work with partners and groups
    10. Culturally humble approach toward work with diverse populations
    11. Experience working with the population preferred
