Macy's is Recognized for its Diversity Leadership
Macy's, Inc. continually strives to integrate diversity and inclusion into all areas of our business, and we are honored by the recognition we have received from both national and local organizations for our longstanding commitment and progress on diversity.
Macy's has again been recognized by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) on its list of the Top 50 Companies for women executives, for the 10th year, for our record and representation of women serving on Macy's Board of Directors, in management roles, and in our overall workforce. Patti Ongman, EVP/GMM, Centercore Jewelry/Handbags/Accessories, accepted the award on behalf of Macy's, at the awards luncheon in March.
Macy's scored 100 on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and been recognized as a 2011 Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality, for our policies and support of LGBT employees. Macy's was among 337 companies who scored 100 on the HRC CEI, and was recognized at the HRC's 7th Annual Workplace Equality Awards.
