Helping to Build Cincinnati

In 1893, three Cincinnatians saw a need for savings and loan services in the booming neighborhood of Price Hill. Franklin Walters, John Weber and Edward Doctor began the Warsaw Federal Savings and Loan Association to serve that need. The new savings and loan shared a building with Weber’s shoe repair shop at 3112 Warsaw Avenue.

These entrepreneurs helped build the Price Hill community by providing construction and new home financing.
