The Contemporary Arts Center recently announced Art Where You Are, an art auction and fundraising event for the museum. Proceeds from the auction will benefit educational programs at the CAC, as well as a local artist relief fund and Black Lives Matter initiatives. Auction items include pieces created by artists who have exhibited or performed at the CAC, such as Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Vhils, and Bubi Canal, among many others. You can also bid on a signed concept drawing by architect Zaha Hadid. The fundraiser runs through August 31, and you can view all of the auction items here.

This has been a challenging time for local businesses, but it is great to see new businesses opening and longstanding businesses reimagined into new concepts. Pontiac Bourbon & BBQ, located at 1403 Vine Street in Over-the-Rhine, has been renamed Pontiac OTR, and will shift its focus from barbeque to its popular items including smoked chicken wings and tiki drinks. Downtown restaurant Nada, which has been closed during the COVID-19 epidemic, has reopened with new menu items, continuing the Mexican theme, but with some new flavors and more traditional Mexican offerings, as well as a new cocktail menu. The patio will also be expanded to allow for more outdoor dining. The restaurant will be back in business on September 4.

Visit the latest jazz and wine bar in Over-the-Rhine this weekend as Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge officially opens at 1432 Vine Street. A Black- and woman-owned business, owner Tammie Scott will focus on highlighting women and minority winemakers and producers, while providing a fun and relaxed environment with live music and performances. Check out this beautiful space and help welcome Nostalgia to Downtown Cincinnati!
