• Remembering Nathaniel Jones and Todd Portune

    The good working people of Cincinnati and Hamilton County have lost two dear friends in the last few days... And over the next few days we will celebrate their lives while we mourn their loss. Here are the details of those celebrations of two lives well lived:
    Hamilton County Commissioner Todd Portune, Oberlin College Hall of Fame, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2020 age the age of 61 with his family by his side. Public Visitation to be held Monday, February 3, 2020, at the Duke Energy Convention Center from 10 am - 12 pm with service immediately following at 12 pm. Burial at Spring Grove Cemetery. Donations can be made in his honor to the
    Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati at 4623 Wesley Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45212. Arrangements are being handled by Spring Grove Funeral Homes. See his full life story here.
    The Honorable Nathaniel R. Jones passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the age of 93 years. A community visitation is being held Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 5:00 PM- until 8:00 PM at Corinthian Baptist Church, 1920 Tennessee Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45237 with a special Kappa Alpha Psi Memorial Service at 6:00 pm. Also, Visitation Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Corinthian Baptist Church with Full Military Services.
