If you’re looking for fun activities during the winter months, there are plenty of great indoor options around Downtown Cincinnati this week. On Saturday, visit the City Urban Flea Market at Kroger on the Rhine from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Stop in on the second floor and shop a variety of clothing, accessories, and bath and body products from N. Danyell's Closet and other vendors. While you’re there, grab a delicious meal from the local restaurants offering a diverse selection of food options at the On the Rhine Eatery.

I am looking forward to visiting the Cincinnati Museum Center for Maya: the Exhibition. This special exhibition offers an exploration of the ancient culture of the Maya, which inhabited parts of Mexico and Central America and lead many discoveries in the areas of mathematics, astronomy, and architecture. View over 300 artifacts that provide a fascinating look into the daily life of the Mayan people, including sculptures and other visual arts. The exhibition will be on display through April 4, and you can purchase tickets here.

Braxton Brewery in Pendleton is bringing some heat during the cold season with the opening of its new restaurant, Pendalo Wingery, located next to brewery taproom. The owners collaborated with Parlor on Seventh, the restaurant located next to the Braxton location in Covington, to open a chicken wing-themed restaurant offering a variety of traditional chicken wings, as well as a vegetarian cauliflower option. The restaurant also offers salads and snacks, including beer cheese and pretzels, quesadillas, and other menu items that would pair just right with a cold Braxton beer. Pendalo is open for both carry-out and dine-in service, and is open Wednesday and Thursday 3-9 p.m., and Friday-Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.

Reserve a spot in a warm, cozy igloo at the AC Hotel at The Banks. The rooftop bar, Upper Deck, has brought the popular igloos back this winter season, offering stunning views of the riverfront and a menu of handcrafted cocktails and small bites to enjoy while you’re there. Upper Deck is open Thursday through Saturday. If you would like to make a reservation for your group, click here.

Support local food merchants this winter and you could win prizes! Findlay Market launched its Takeout Tuesdaypromotion to encourage visitors to help its local food vendors. To participate, order takeout from any Findlay Market merchant on Tuesdays during January and February. Take a photo of your meal or receipt and email it to info@findlaymarket.org. Each person who submits a photo will be entered to win a prize basket filled with various Findlay Market items. Each photo submission counts as a separate entry, so the more you visit, the better your chance to win. The winner will be announced on February 25 on the Findlay Market Facebook and Instagram accounts. Good luck!
