The Banks will be buzzing this weekend as America Ninja Warrior comes to town to build the elaborate obstacle course and audience seating. You can still join the waitlist for tickets to see this action-packed competition live. The filming of the episode will take place during the Taste of Cincinnati, happening next weekend from May 25-27 along Fifth Street. When making your plans to visit either of these big events, make sure you check for upcoming street closures.
Free rides for Cincinnati Reds fans! Thanks to sponsor Woods Hardware, you can ride the Cincinnati Bell Connector for free with a same-day Reds game ticket purchase. Just have your ticket ready and hop on board. Both digital and paper tickets are accepted.
If you haven’t seen a film at Cincinnati World Cinema, they have a great lineup for the next few months. Located at 719 Race Street at Garfield Place, this independent movie theater hosts an array of films, including ANIARA, a Swedish science-fiction film opening this weekend. It will also host films during the Cincinnati Fringe Festival happening May 31-June 15.
Just around the corner in Piatt Park, TriYoga with LQ will start hosting yoga classes in the park! These donation-based classes occur every Monday evening from June 3 - Aug. 5. Be on the lookout for more programming in Piatt Park and other locations throughout downtown and Over-the-Rhine as we recently launched the Street Stage Project, a busking project that is a partnership between 3CDC and Cincinnati Music Accelerator, and powered by ArtsWave.
