Enjoy the outdoors while getting some exercise this summer. As part of regular programming at Washington Park3CDC has partnered with Pure Barre Cincinnati-Oakley and First Financial Bank to offer free classes each week at the park. Pure Barre classes are held every Wednesday at 7 p.m. through August 26. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as space will be limited to allow for social distancing. Grab your yoga mat, towel and water bottle, and head over to Washington Park!

The Taft Museum of Art has reopened with a new, timed entry system and other recommended protocols by Responsible Restart Ohio. Before you visit, make sure to review the health and safety policies for guests and employees at the museum. Online ticket purchases are recommended, but you can also purchase tickets in person for an additional fee. Admission will continue to be free on Sundays, and always free for museum members. First responders can enjoy free admission during July and August. Explore the permanent collection at the museum and grab lunch at the Lindner Family Café.  To purchase tickets, click here.

If you’re in need of a summer look, visit Jim Brofft Salon Central for a great deal on highlights, treatments and other services. For $95, the promotion includes up to 24 bleach foils, conditioner, as well as a haircut and blowout. Balyage options, toners, and processes requiring extra product are an additional $16 each. As a big fan of the original Mt. Adams location, I was excited to hear that Teak Thai Cuisine & Sushi Bar would be reopening in Over-the-Rhine. The time has finally arrived, as the Thai restaurant opens tomorrow at 1200 Race Street, just across the street from Washington Park.

Tucked away in the southeastern edge of Downtown Cincinnati, the Top of the Park Rooftop Bar, located on the roof of the Residence Inn, offers a lovely view of the skyline, hand-crafted cocktails, and live music every Wednesday and Thursday.
