The Asian Food Festival returns this weekend, bringing more than 30 local Asian food vendors to the new location at The Banks. The festival is happening this Saturday & Sunday on Freedom Way between Walnut and Elm streets. If you go, I highly recommend the dumplings from Dope Noodles (Huit Group) and the Vietnamese lemonade from Pho Lang Thang!
If you love Prime Cincinnati, make sure you try their sister restaurant Street City Pub, located next door at 580 Walnut Street. Enjoy some delicious fish n’ chips and entertainment options every night of the week, including a partnership with FC Cincinnati as an official game night pub. Mention code MAY19DCI and receive $5 off two entrees, valid during the month of May.
Need a laugh? Check out the opening of “A Flea in Her Ear” at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company opening on May 17. Regarded as “one of the funniest farces ever written,” this show is set during turn of the 20th century Paris and offers cheeky, fast-paced humor and tons of physical comedy. Purchase your tickets here.
Follow that truck! Have you seen the cute, red vintage truck parked around downtown? That would be Daisy Jane’s Flower Truck, and you can track the route each day. The truck will be back downtown on Monday at Coffee Emporium, but if you’re in need for Mother’s Day flowers, you can always visit Eden Floral Boutique or Gia and the Blooms for a lovely bouquet.
    See you downtown,
