Hispanic Professionals Network

Members and Future Members:

As part of the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA's efforts to promote the growth of Hispanic/Latino business, Hispanic professionals, as well as companies employing Hispanics in Cincinnati, we are working to develop a Hispanic Professionals Network.

This group will serve as a unifying source of information, communication and cultural enrichment for the Hispanic community in Cincinnati.  The HCCUSA is a bridge to create opportunities for professional development, community engagement and raising cultural awareness.

Among the benefits that this group has to offer:

As a member or non-member of the Hispanic Chamber you can participate in this group using LinkedIn. This tool will help us, businesses and individuals connect with each other.

As a member you have the opportunity to be part of an exclusive Directory designed only for Hispanic Professionals.

This directory is intended to be an interactive listing to be posted in our Member Directory with your profile (see a sample). All visitors have the opportunity to find a specific professional. This benefit is free to our members and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity.

If you are not a member of the Hispanic Chamber, we invite you to join and enjoy benefits like this and many more.

To participate in this group you would need to:

  • Be a professional working in the Greater Cincinnati area
  • Consider yourself Hispanic
  • Request the form in order to participate in the Directory of the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati. (Members only)
  •

Click in the LinkedIn icon and contact our group called

  • “Hispanic Chamber Professionals Group”

We ask that you help us make this a great tool for both members and non-members. Should you have any questions or if you would like to submit your information to be included in the directory, please contact our office today!

The overall goal of this project is to identify, guide and mentor a pipeline of Hispanic leaders who would like be a positive influence in the future of the Cincinnati community at large.   We will bring together 100 local Hispanics from companies and organizations across the Greater Cincinnati area.  This will be an on-going initiative, it will be sponsored by the Hispanic Chamber and it will continue to be part of the service the Hispanic Chamber offers to the community.  Please apply only if you are seriously interested in serving your community.
Why apply for the Hispanic 100 (H-100) initiative?   This initiative will:

Bring together the Greater Cincinnati Hispanic community
You, and your family, will have an opportunity to meet fellow Hispanics from across the region and learn about civic, arts, health, etc. organizations that will enrich your life.
Provide mentoring and leadership opportunities.
The H-100 will provide mentors for younger members and leadership building opportunities for those more senior members.
Provide diverse leadership for local community organizations.
Currently, there are more opportunities for leadership than there are Hispanics available to lead. This is not due to low availability, but rather to the inability of local organizations to identify Hispanic candidates for community advisory positions.

We hope you'll want to join us and contribute your talents towards making Cincinnati a great place to live for not only Hispanics but the community as a whole. To apply, complete the Application found on the back side of this letter and e:mail it to gfanderson@cinci.rr.com, or FAX to (513) 351-6352.

If you have questions, please contact at (513) 533-3800.
