The Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA (HCCUSA) launched Cincy Sabroso in 2021 during Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15). The initiative aimed to promote and inform residents across the Cincinnati metro area about nearby Hispanic/Latino restaurants, while celebrating the rich diversity of Central and South American cuisines available in our community.

As the number of Hispanic/Latino restaurants in our region continues to grow — now exceeding 245 establishments — we recognized the need to reframe Cincy Sabroso as a year-round initiative, rather than limiting it to Hispanic Heritage Month alone.

El Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA (HCCUSA) lanzó Cincy Sabroso en 2021 durante el Mes de la Herencia Hispana (del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre). El objetivo fue promover e informar a los residentes del área metropolitana de Cincinnati sobre los restaurantes hispanos/latinos más cercanos, al mismo tiempo que se celebraba la rica diversidad de cocinas centroamericanas y sudamericanas que tenemos el privilegio de disfrutar.

A medida que sigue creciendo el número de restaurantes latinos/hispanos en nuestra región —actualmente más de 245—, reconocimos la importancia de presentar Cincy Sabroso como una iniciativa activa durante todo el año, y no solamente limitada al Mes de la Herencia Hispana.
