When Dustin Grutza took on an executive role at his family’s construction company, he noticed a two-sided problem in the trades. Employers couldn’t find the workers they needed when they needed them while workers couldn’t find the employment, stability, and benefits they sought. This inspired him to build CraftForce with the mission of revolutionizing the skilled trades.
The CraftForce tool—the Job Map—is an online and mobile app that connects workers and employers. Through our Job Map, workers have access to benefits including health, steady employment, training, and representation. Our team makes sure they get the wage rate they deserve. And we never take a dime out of their pocket.
When clients hire through us, they can take on more projects because we have the skilled labor they need when they need it. We work with each company’s HR department to provide ongoing support, workforce training, management of fluctuating labor needs, and more. All while providing the confidence that the workers showing up to the job site are qualified, reliable, and ready to get the job done right.
The mission to revolutionize the skilled trades extends beyond fulfilling the labor needs of today. Our team visits trade, vocational, and technical education schools regularly to bring more students into the trades, where we have built a viable path to career success. More can be learned about our work with trade schools and partnerships here.
